If you are looking for a boring run of the mill pet name, you have come to the wrong place. We are all about the extreme, odd, funny, and out of the ordinary names, here.
As a father I have made a career out of making bad suggestions for pet names for my children. I thought it would be a good idea to name our first dog Fire. That way I could tell the kids, “go outside and play with Fire.” I was overruled. I also suggested we name the dog: Dog. I was overruled, but I suggested Koira and they liked it. Koira is Finish for Dog. Victory for dad!
I have had many other great suggestions that have gone unappreciated, but with the Internet I can spread my naming conventions to a wider audience and perhaps find some greater influence in our culture.
You may not choose one of my many suggestions, but I hope that you have a good time reading them. Either way congratulations on your new pet and whether you name your new python, Sir Hugs A Lot (also rejected), or your tortoise, Velocious (also rejected), I expect that you will have a broader selection of possibilities here that other naming sites.
